Hey friends
I just wanted to let you know that, as of today, we have completed production!
That last thing we’ve been waiting for was the final piece of animation that closes out the film. It’s the counterpoint to the opening animation, which tells the “Sunday school” version of early Christian history.
The closing animation tells the updated version, based on what the audience has learned over the course of the film.
This has now been sent, along with a rough edit I did of the film a couple of months ago, and all of my editing notes (a blow by blow, minute by minute instruction list for how to edit it, I’m a regular Martin Scorsese now) to the editor in Melbourne. His job now is to do a professional edit of the film. Then is it ready to SELL and DISTRIBUTE and I’m getting my tux ready for the Academy Awards.
Anyway, thanks for your support and patience. This is has taken, oh about 18 months longer and 1000 hours more of my time than I originally planned three years ago. We shot the last interviews in North Carolina back in JANUARY 2018!!
