I’ve been running a small New Testament knowledge quiz with some folks on Facebook and the results have been interesting. The average score people are getting is around 6 out of 10, which is honestly a lot higher than I expected. However, I think the sample is skewed because most of these people listen to my podcasts and I’ve been talking about this subject a LOT over the last couple of years, so they had a head start.

Maybe I need to make the questions harder? Or maybe I need to word them in a way where it’s not as easy to guess?

I’m looking forward to running the experiment with a larger audience, particularly Christians, so see how they fare. I’ve had a few Christian friends who I’ve told about the film suggest they are pretty confident their bible knowledge is up to scratch so I can’t wait to see how it turns out. Of course, the quiz isn’t timed so there’s no way of stopping people from cheating and Googling the answers, but Christians wouldn’t do that, would they?
